No photos or videos to import...Yes there is!

    Hey MarlenHobson

A fix was issued yesterday which addresses an issue with Nikon Cameras. Simply go to Windows Update and make sure KB 3081444 is installed

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3081444

    Hope this helps

    Thanks

    Ken

I don't know why the install is failing on that particular update, but it installed on my laptop and I wish it hadn't. The thread I posted on it can be found here: KB3081441 or KB3081444 Update Causing Shutdown Hang

Perhaps you've been saved from the same issue I had. I had to remove it so my restarts and shut downs would work right again.

i think it was because of a conflicting program that it kept falling?

You are really the only one who can answer that question. *Smile

If everything is working okay for you in Windows 10, I'd leave things alone. The old adage about, "If it isn't broken don't fix it." applies here. On the other hand, if you're having nothing but trouble you might want to think about going back to Windows 8.1 (or not upgrading at all) for awhile, say a few months, until the bugs get worked out.

I'm just about to the point of going back to Windows 7 on this machine if the "updates" keep breaking things. I'm down to one system for the moment and I need it to work.
