Windows 10: windows update kb-4601319 for windows 10 x64 systems wont finish

I have a problem. my system has been trying to download the cumulative update 4601319, and had reached 100 % on the update settings page, only it did not do anything after that. It sat at 100 % for several hours. I tried pausing and resuming the download, thinking it might kick something into gear only to have the download show 0 % and it had to start downloading again. I am running an Omen by Hp an-120nr with windows 10, I don't know if there is anything else i need to post here. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240
