Windows 10: Windows update KB2267602 Version 1.413.628.0 - Current Channel Broad NOT installing

This update has been stuck installing on my W11 home system for several days. It shows 0% installed. how do i resolve this? the windows update troubleshooter does NOT help. Trying to use the net stop bits, net stop wuauserv and renaming the folders does NOT help. Unable to get access to the catroot2 to rename it. Can someone help?

How do I install Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.407.521.0) - Current Channel (Broad)?

Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.407.521.0) - Current Channel (Broad) has been popping up in my Updates for months now. Every time I click download & install, it downloads and installs ... No Error message, sometimes it even shows up as "installed" when I run a Check for Updates. And then, a couple of hours to a couple of days later, it appears again as a required update.

Due to unrelated things, I had to completely re-install Windows 11 more than once in the last couple of weeks, but even after a fresh install (including formatting hard drive(s), etc) and with only the Microsoft Standards that come with a fresh Windows Install installed, it still pops up again and again ...

For my system - Windows 11 (64Bit & 23H2) with no outstanding updates on a Huawei Matebook D15

 

What does current channel (Broad) mean

This typically is for a commercial version of Defender. It looks fine.

Do you have Microsoft 365 account assigned to you from work or school? Or perhaps you have a business version?

If you go to Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School, do you see anything listed there?

The broad channel is one of the gradual Microsoft Defender monthly platform update rollout channels.
