Windows 10: Windows Update KB5012170 Error: 0x80248007 and KB5026372 Error: 0x80248014

I bought this computer 2 weeks ago and Windows Updates fails to install these two updates: KB5012170 Error: 0x80248007 and KB5026372 Error: 0x80248014I tired running chkdsk - noting wrongDeleting the window updates files - no changeGoing to a previous system restore point - couldn't go back enoughTried DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth commands - I tried with and without mounting a WIndows Image. I either got a message about corrupted files or a message message telling me there was nothing at the source. even though i put a sourceWhat do I have left besides reinstalling Wind

Windows Update Error 0x80248014

I'm attempting to install the Windows 11 22H2 Update but after a SFC Scan, DISM Scan, Windows update component reset, a restart, deleting the software distribution folder, and resetting the catroot2 folder yet Nothing works.

Thanks for the ideas. I had already run 1 updater . . . followed your instructions with no luck.

The system scan came back with no integrity violations. Got a message from the second updater (had that before) about a database corruption issue - applied the fix. Here are the results:

Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings - Detected

Some security setting are missing or have been changed - Fixed

Service registration is missing or corrupt - Fixed

Potential Windows Update Database error detected - Fixed

Windows Update components must be repaired - Fixed

Check for pending updates - Fixed

The machine is a Dell Inspiron 5000 series with Core I7 and 16GB of memory - about 3 years old.

It is backed up.
