Windows 10: Windows Update KB5012599

Updated the above successfully. However, created problem with 'SIMSIG' software and I couldn't download any simulations and a box came up reporting "external exception C06D007E", I guessed the problem lay with the above update and uninstalled it. No further problem. However, I'm left wondering what I should do about installing this latest update. I need to mention that I recently uninstalled 'Microsoft Edge' I have no use for it and I wonder if this would affect the update.Terrence Kimm.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
