Windows 10: Windows update KB5021233 keeps trying to install

Hi,I'm having issues with a windows 10 update KB5021233. It successfully installed on 16th December, but Windows Update doesn't recognise this, and keeps trying to reinstall it, taking up huge amounts of system resource. The reinstallation naturally fails as it's already been done, but then continuously retries. I have permanent 100% disk use due to the Windows Update Module. I have no resources left to work with. Try to install windows10.0-kb5021233-x64.msu manually.

Many such reports of Windows Update failing with particular error codes have been reported on tenforums.
It is often worth searching for the error code.

Whilst it is sometimes possible to find the exact cause, this can be hard, and more time spent than undertaking a routine repair.

and you can, or course, consider an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data
