Windows 10: Windows update KB5025221 causing issues writing to tape with IBM Spectrum SDE LTFS software.

It appears that windows update KB5025221 has created errors in everything IBM Spectrum LTFS except for load/unload commands. All other commands fail with this error ""Error 0x800703E6: Invalid access to memory location" When reviewing LTFS Windows event logs it is filled with many interface errors when trying to mount.Uninstalling this update allows me to write to tape again without errors but I don't think Windows will let me keep this update uninstalled forever. This is impacting both windows 10/11 with the same security update.

Windows 10: DVD Packet writing broken after KB5025221 still not fixed in KB5026361

After installing KB5025221 DVD packet writing seems broken it will write at a very slow 100kb/s and you can hear the DVD drive constantly ramping down.

After uninstalling KB5025221 DVD packet writing is working normally writing at over 8MB/s

Does anyone know of a work around to get DVD packet writing working in KB5025221 ?

(Edit: Tested this on 2 computers they both behave the same way DVD+RW packet writing fine prior to update dead slow / unusable after update)

Recently installed KB5026361. Discovered the same issue so I went and uninstalled the update and everything is fine again.

Just i want know after update below the windows patch (KB5025221) Office365 Apps getting error

"this issue -error message that say.. "Outlook/Word/Excel has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. Outlook/Excel/Word"

Resolution for this issue I have found after uninstalled the below the windows patch (KB5025221) then after Office365 Apps is working fine.

Tape backup software for Windows 10

First of all, does that HP Ultrium 460 LTO provide a real up-to-date drivers for Windows 10? The link you provide shows specs dated 2002. Also you may check these guys at Ultrabac: Supported Operating Systems | UltraBac Software Hardware Compatibility List for UltraBac and UBDR Gold I used their software in late 90s with a HP tape drive under Windows NT.
