Windows 10: windows update lack of memory

My laptop wont update due to lack of memory. When I insert a 30GB memory stick as recommended by the help video, the choose the memory stick option is greyed out and I can only chose free up memory on the laptop. I have hardly anything on the machine, even my photos are on an sd card and I have no games or apps. I cant free up enough memory to update.The computer is only one year old Lenovo ideapad.

To further assist you, we suggest that you run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. Refer to the steps provided below:

• On the Start screen, type memory.
• Click Settings and then click the result Diagnose your computer's memory problems.
• Select the option to run the tool.

We also suggest you to temporarily disable the antivirus as it consumes more memory and then try to upgrade.

• Open Task Manager.
• Click on More details.
  
• Click on the Performance tab.
• Click on Memory.

5800 Lack of memory

Hi



Problem seems to be obvious - I ran out of memory.

The tricky thing is that I have no applications, media or something installed on my phone memory. I keep everything on memory card.

The question is: is it possible that software V 60.0.003 eats approx. 80 MBs of memory?



The second problem is that I cannot open the list of installed applications, but I guess that it's a matter of small ammount of memory.
