    Windows update made Discord not work


    Got an (unwanted yet again) update, the KB4556441 for the .NET framework and KB4551853 for Win 1809 x64, since then discord is stuck in a "RTC connecting --》 No route" cycle, worked perfectly just before the update, absolutely need Discord for work during the Covid-19 stay-at-home-to-do-your-job situation.

    Anyone have some sort of advice to make it work again?

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
