    Windows Update makes system unbootable

Before the update my Razer hardware stopped working with windows but worked everywhere else installation and recovery. even UEFI

Mouse didn't move the cursor, headset - no issues, only software doesn't see it. However I couldn't install the driver because installers unavailable.

So, I restarted with Windows Update hoping that helps, well that made stuff even worse, it broke something during a sudden BSoD and I almost got into recovery, but at least I got there, repairing didn't work.

Can't reset too - online doesn't work, local got stuck and quit. I have read the log file and it said about some string in the update packet being corrupted and it spent 18 thousand miliseconds to fail fixing it. Error code 0x3 <– may be useful!

I will contact an advisor as soon as I can, but your help will be useful too.

by the way, unbootable means that my system thinks it's all good to go, the circle spins and poof - 2 dots appear, sudden reset I run the latest UEFI so no way it is causing issues and enter automatic repair

    :)

    Windows Update makes system unbootable

Windows 10 crashed after update and is now unbootable

The comments that were made were in addition those made dalchina so follow the steps that were outlined.
The comments that were made were only if you wanted to try additional troubleshooting steps.
They are command line steps as compared to windows steps.

For the registry backup via task scheduler a computer with windows 1703 displayed 9/26/2018; one with 1803 displayed 9/27/2018 and the one that was upgraded to 1809 displayed: 11/30/1999 (not yet run)

    None of these were scheduled.

There were no default settings modified after the upgrade to 1809:

Using Macrium the backup is an extra layer of protection.
Dalchina, what schedule modifications did you make for the computers?
If there is a computer that is not using a backup image what alternative schedule do you recommend?
