Windows 10: Windows Update may have broken dual monitor

Hi, I am running Windows 10 . I have two 1080p monitors. Yesterday my PC installed the latest Windows update. However upon restarting my PC later that day my PC only detected my second monitor, not being able to detect my first. After restarting my PC and pressing the Reset button, it now detects my first monitor again. However it believes my first monitor's native resolution is 1024 x 768 and won't let me change it. I tried uninstalling the latest quality update but it said that windows ran into a problem and won't be able to uninstall it. What is going on and what can I do about it?

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

• Are both of the monitors not working just like what the original poster was experiencing? If yes, have you tried disconnecting one of the monitors? What was the outcome?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
