Windows 10: windows update messed up my pc, how do i fix this?

It will disconnect from the wired internet, but like partially sometimes it leaves me in chats and will keep playing youtube videos but i cant open any other websites. or other times it will remove me from chat and it wont let anything load and when i hit the internet troubleshooter it says everything is fine no problem detected. all other devices connected to my router work fine new ethernet cord same problem. my mouse is lagging as well so ive gotten a new mouse same problem lags across the screen, precise presses are difficult the mouse just bounces, ive tired new driver for the mouse, unin

Yeah, I've been noting it for months on the refusenik thread. They do NOT want anything older than 10 running.

I still have an HTPC on W7, and every other month I have to fix the update agent in order to get all updates. SMH....

Windows Update keeps failing!

Hi,

I had once a similar issue like yours, i.e. not able to update Windows 7. What I did to solve the problems is:

- go to control panel, then to "Troubleshouting" > "System and Security" > "Fix problems with Windows update" > click "Advanced" > choose "Apply repairs automatically".

And Windows will start detecting the issues and will repair "Windows update components". The problems should be fixed now, close the program, restart the PC, and see if the mentioned steps have fixed the problems you mentioned.
