Windows 10: Windows Update missing important security updates

I have Windows 11 Home, version 21H2, and the Windows Update icon in the taskbar RHS shows a red bot. I click on this to run Windows Update, which says that the PC missing important security updates - bit there's no option to download and install these updates?Can anyone advise how I resolve this?

Windows 7 Ultimate (64) Security updates not installing.

I have been having problems in installing the updates that I have listed below. For each update I attempted to install them individually but they would not install. I also downloaded the SURT 6.1 KB947821 v27. The problem has been going on now for about 2 months. (whenever the issue with the updates comes to mind I am never near my pc). Thank you in advance.

Windows 10 Updates: Your device is missing important security and quality fixes

Hi there,

Windows updates are available, however the system does not update these nor lets me do it manually. This message shows: Your device is missing important security and quality fixes, and a list of 6 pending download updates are listed below.

I followed the steps I could find in this community from other users having similar difficulties in the past and it didn't fix it.

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
