    Windows Update not Working


    windows up Date has been giving me problems for a week now I have tried everything from restarting it to Down Loading Window UP Date Assistant It Didn't work so I tried to uninstall IT now its stuck and want uninstall because of a system error. I Think IT might have corrupt files are something. Three updates is all I have *** Email address is removed for privacy *** I HAVE A Window 10 Internet Explorer Microsoft Edge. ITS An OLder Computer and I Am trying to update it.


    * Moved from IE10/Win 8

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
