Windows 10: Windows update problems after recovery.

Split from this thread.i have a great HP dv7 laptop and has windows 7 and after recovery everything works except windows update and windows website would not let me download the realtek and atheros updated connectivity drivers , it shows there are new versions for both. widows website keep telling me to click on windows update and i keep getting this error 80072EFE it says it can not connect even though i have secured connection, and i am on the internet, thats whow i sent this message. i tried wireless and wired connection it says the same thing. the RAM is 4 gb the hard drive has al

Data Recovery for Mac (OSX Capitan) ?

Anybody knows of a good data recovery software for mac? Preferably free?

I use Active@ Data Recovery for Windows, but honestly no idea what to use for Mac OSX.

Any suggestions?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
