  1. Windows Update restored my PC to an earlier state...why?

While logged in as a standard user, I always get alerts when a Windows Update is going to happen.
Today, as a standard user, I got no alerts about available updates.
But when I happened to log in as Admin, I got a blue screen: "We've got some updates for your computer".
There was no option to decline, so I waited.
Next I saw a dialog: "System Restored to 11/13/2020"

I've never seen this behavior before; Why as a standard user did I not get a Windows Update alerts that Microsoft wanted to revert my system to a version over two months prior?

I've never encountered a Windows Update that reverted my system to an earlier date. Maybe I've been lucky?

Is this 'normal behavior', and is there any way to find out what the reason was, for this action?

(Now running Win10 ver 2004 (OS Build 19041.685....after the system reversion)

    :)

I have been having problems with Windows 10 updates changing my PC NOT FOR THE BETTER ,so I have been using recovery to restore my PC to an earlier restore point/date .But the last time I tried this my screen went blank then it was suggested that I reset
my PC so I did ,Problem is I have Windows 10 back but the reset has removed all my Apps and placed them all on a page titled Removed Apps .Ok question can I use this page to put everything back the way it was ?Also If I try to restore the PC back to an earlier
date I can't go back any earlier than the reset date.
