Windows 10: Windows Update ruined my internet since april, can't undo the damage, how do I make my...

In april the 24H2 update ruined my internet, it could not open any webpage, turning it on and off sometimes took out my wifi as option and I had to go into settings so it could be turned on again.my internet driver is updated.troubleshoot results that the driver is working correctly.Restarted it anyway, restarted the router, restarted the laptop and nothing helps.tried to undo the update but the problem persisted because at it warns, it may not be able to undo all the changes.then the fix to the update came, and it fixed it a bit the problem, now sometimes pages do load, but not every page nor

In order to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps, pleas reply with the details requested below:

• Do you receive any error message after Windows update?
  
• May I know after which update do you see this message?
  
• When you say, “this message appear about half and hour" does the computer boot to the desktop?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  

If the computer doesn’t boot to the Desktop, I would suggest you to refer the suggestions provided by DaveM121 replied on April 7, 2019 in the thread

'Undoing changes made to your computer' in Windows 10.



If you are able to boot the computer to the Desktop, I would suggest you to run the

Windows Update Troubleshooter and see if that helps.



If the issue persists, I would suggest you to reset Windows Update components. Kindly refer the article by Sumit on

How to:Reset Windows update components in Windows.



You may also want to refer the steps mentioned in the article

Note: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost. Also, the last step in the article
talks about Clean installation, please do not perform a clean installation of Windows.

How to undo damage/bugs caused by Windows 10 v 2004 update?

Try going to device manager, right click your audio from ,'Sound, video and game controllers', then update driver, 'browse my computer for drivers', then 'let me pick from a list of available drivers........' . In the properties window try another driver. I have 4 showing and the slightly highlighted one is in use I believe. If that doesn't work go to your PC's manufacturer's site and get the latest drivers.

 

Win 10 update ruined my computer

I will gladly dispose of any "ruined computer" that Windows 10 has "ruined". Just ship them to me and I will take care of disposing of the "ruined" hardware!
