Windows 10: Windows Update Screwed up need help urgently

So i was updating windows and it failed so my pc restarted and now i cant do anything cant lqunch any programs or open the start menu i try restart it via crt alt dlt and it tells me it needs to update so i let it update and then it fails and the same thing happens again plz i need help urgently

Can some one please STOP updating windows without fixing the frigging Defender bug issues. I need help URGENTLY and the last thing is for Microsoft to screw up my laptop.

 

I can't open up any photos now that Microsoft forced me to update Windows 10

I did not want to download this latest Windows 10 update, every time I'm forced to do this something gets screwed up. I can now no longer open up any of my photos. I use this computer for work, these are work related images, not family photos that are
not urgent to use. Please help, this is ridiculous!

 

Next time you try the restart hold down the shift key when you click on restart. This should offer you some additional options for troubleshooting or restoring your PC. Were you updating from a previous version of windows or just doing a cumulative update of W10?

 

I can only restart form the lock screen

 

How are you restarting?

 

On the lock screen i crtl alt dlt and the signout then i restart

 

Make sure you hold the Shift key down when you click Restart
