Windows 10: Windows Update Slowed Down My Laptop

Hello,

It was going all well, My laptop was running games good, but the new update notifications were bothering me so I updated it. After that update, my PC has became quite slow! I used to get 60 frames before update now I hardly get 5 fps! Wth. Fortnite is unplayable now. How do I fix it? Did this new minor update reset any optimisation I made in the laptop? Also, how do I delete this update since it’s bothering me like hell! Thanks. (waitng for a reply ASAP)

Do windows updates slow down the computer?

slow down? not since I swapped to ssds. Now on my laptop if the fan is going nuts while it appears to be doing nothing, I can rest assured its just windows updates making my normally 5-10db laptop sound like a Harrier.
