  1. Windows Update starts itself automatically at startup, help

Is there any way to stop this happening? My computer slows down to much even with a SSD and boot time is also affected by this because MSI logo takes like almost a 25-30 seconds to complete to reach desktop. I can see WinUpdate process on task manager, when I click stop or hit delete, it just restores itself in like 5 seconds. This really impacts to my computer speed and takes forever to load the pc. I want to stop this permanentlyI'm using Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 21h2 with a i9 CPU if that helps

    :)

    Vista Automatic Updating Error

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
