Windows 10: Windows Update stuck at 36%

Hello

Windows 10 downloaded an update yesterday March 11 and today when I turned the computer on it started working on atualizations but stuck at 36% and is there forever. I dont dare interrupt it... what should I do? I of course am writing from another computer

Hello Community,

I believe my Windows 10 is stuck installing those 2 updates (or 1 of the 2). It stays at Working on Updates 63% complete and stays there forever.

Steps I've tried:
1- Hard rebooting (same effect)
2- Using the Windows 10 Pro CD
2a- Startup repair (no effect)
2b- System Restore (Message saying to reboot and select a Restore Point, but when I reboot it comes back to Working on updates)

Help me!

 

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Resetting this PC stuck at 36%

I have been stuck at 36% for the last 3 hours during PC resetting operation. I just received a new Laptop from Dell and I had barely used it for 2 weeks. I had a couple of files and programs on this PC such as Chrome browser. I made a stupid mistake of resetting
this PC before returing this to Dell. I did not anticipate this to get stuck and now its just getting annoying. Any idea when this will complete? Any fixes? I do not have any backups or a second computer to download any thing as some of the posts suggest.

OS: Windows 10 Home (64bit) English
