Windows 10: Windows update stuck at 44%

    Windows update stuck at 44%


    My computer won’t update. Every time it tries, it gets to 44% then freezes. It then reverts back to the previous version.


    Computer à Alienware 15 R3

    Current version à 1803, OS build 17134.1304

    Pending Version à 1809 x64 2020-05B

    Please let me know if anything else is needed to help diagnose my problem! I keep ignoring the update but it has been trying to install for months. Thank you all.

    Windows 10 Update STuck at 44%

    My Dell laptop (2 years old) keeps getting stuck at 44% blue screen when it tries to update windows 10. I power off and it reverts back to old version of windows when it powers up but how do I get the update to work all the way through?

    Cumlative update windows 10 (KB3156387) stuck at 44%


    For some reason when I update to the Cumlative update windows 10 (KB3156387) it gets stuck at 44% and then uninstalled the update.

    I see on other forums it works for some & others it does not.

    Any solution?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
