Windows 10: Windows update thinks an update is already installed but it isn't. Now it won't offer it again

I'm in the Windows insider program, I'm on Canary version 25951. But today my PC restarted to install version .25967. But it only took 15 minutes and said it was done. No rollback or error message. But the bottom right corner of my screen still shows that I am on 25951. My Widgets and one drive are not working properly. Windows update is not offering me the ability to reinstall 25967 because it says it installed successfully but in reality it didn't. How can I install it again?

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.
