Windows 10: Windows Update Troubleshooter - wrong links on MS website

Just a note for anyone who (like me) has wanted to try the Windows Update Troubleshooter from the Microsoft website.

There seems to be an error on this page, as at time of writing (30 September 2017).

There are two links, supposedly one for Windows 10 , the other for Windows 7 and 8.

However both links point to the same URL, and if you use it within Windows 10, it complains that Windows 10 itself has a newer version (even if , as seems likely given you're using this tool *Wink , Windows 10 hasn't been updated lately.)

Using this page seems to give the correct links :

I'd like to know more information about the issue you're having with Windows Updates. Please answer these questions:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• What is the current OS build and version of your Windows 10 device? To get this information, press
  Windows logo key + R, type winver, then select
  OK.
• Can you provide me with a screenshot of the exact error message showing on your end? This
  article can help you in getting this information.
