Windows 10: Windows Update?? Whole Layout has changed...

Im not sure if this was a new update, im the only one in my family with this at the moment however. My whole windows layout has changed.

I used to be able to see the desktop background with the icons i could click on etc. When i pressed start it would simply pop up in the bottom left corner like normal. Now I dont have a desktop background, no icons etc. Whenever i start up my computer it starts up with the start icons across the screen as the new default. How do i fix this? I want to go back to the previous windows default settings.

  How many keyboard language have you installed?
  

If you have installed more than 1 keyboard language in your system, then I suggest you to remove the keyboard language other than default language and check if it helps.

Follow the steps to remove the language.

• 
  Open Control panel.
  
• 
  Click on language.
  
• 
  Select the language and click on remove option at the top.

Wrong keyboard layout in login page after update to 1607

Hi,

Since the issue reoccurred after updating to anniversary update, I suggest you to reconfigure the QWERTY keyboard layout and check if the same issue persists. This is to check if the issue is with Windows 10 1607 update.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to configure the keyboard layout:

• Open Settings and click on Time and Language.
• Click on Region and Language.
• Add the Country and click on add a language and select the language of your choice.
• This will take time to download the pack.
• Once this is done, Press Windows key + Space and press Space key to choose the keyboard layout.
