Windows 10: Windows update will not download updates - stuck at 99% downloading.

My laptop will not update windows 10 security updates. I have downloaded the windows 10 update assistant but the update always sticks at 99%!

Has anyone got any ideas. Thanks for your help!

Windows 10 Updates stuck at 99% and SkypeSetup.exe fails to download.

Having trouble in doing the Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade, as the ISO file is also stuck on downloading in its half way. I even tried Media Creation Tool. That also stuck on downloading.

I Have done the SFC, DISM, Icon Catch Rebuild in Windows 10. Sending you the screen shots.

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

I have done the recommended option for the SFC command just now.




It did not find any problem.
I restarted my computer and I still have the same problem with the updates.
I am giving the screenshots of the SFC command and followed by the Windows Updates .
