Windows 10: Windows update won't search for updates automaticlly

My windows update works strange it will install and download updates but it won't start itsefl to Look for them and i need to manually click the button and then it will search. And thats the pc where im logged to my MSN account but on the laptop with local account it search for them everyday. Pc has installed 21h2 version and laptop 21h1 both of them are home versions. Can someone help me with this do i need local account to get that fixed i tried reinstalling windows several Times but nothing worked i even restarted update service and nothing

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

Pros:

• No need for a script, easy to apply manually
  
• Much smaller download, seems that KB3020369 is not required, only SP1 is needed

Cons:

• Windows Update Client downloaded by the script is newer (June 2016 version is included in KB3172605 instead of March 2016)
• You will still need to download/install hundreds of updates afterwards, most of them are already included in KB3125574 and installed by the script

To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.
