  2. Here is the workaround to fix this issue, please scroll down to jeffspxx and this works and is the workaround, don't forget to rerun windows after to see that it is back to normal

    Lots of members including myself are getting this error
    Been posted about it in windows 10 News section
    Myself just going to leave it and let it sort its self out on Monday.
    My systems are all running ok without it so not going to upset the apple-cart

    cant even find windows updates now, its been removed from my side panel. The only function I have in the win logo (bottom keft) is right click small menu of what I didnt have and dont want

    You do keep the Search box nect to the "win logo", do you ?
    If yes, type windows update into the box > a popup box will appear > click Check for updates >
    You should be on Windows Update windows now.

    windows update returns me to the desktop. I have a support tech in my machine, he is going to do a windows refesh after doing loads of examinations.

    Just a word of advice ................ try not to delete too many "things" unless you know such action will not create adverse effect.

    did full refresh and updates, got my own desktop back, no users (2) and going now for fresh install. AGH!!!

    I found this link in cluster Head's post I ran it And now my 32 bit has downloaded and everything is fine again.dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\c4a1b8896ce9fbfea96c1ee6890 d52a5\windows10.0-kb3122947-x32.cab
