    WINDOWS UPDATES ARE NOW A REAL PAIN


    After years of worrying about Windows Security and its weakness, its finally been resolved and is now top class. However just when you feel you can enjoy Windows 10. We have a real problem with updates . I am at the point of going to Apple. I cant think of the full number and now cant be bothered going to my PC to look it up and dont ask me please Moderators you what I mean. Its KB and ends 41 . An Organisation like Microsoft worth Billions and they cant sort it out. WHAT A DISGRACE. WHAT A SHAME.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Network sharing is a real pain


    As I said, I share a TEMP folder on each of my machines. It's C:\TEMP

    Share permissions are on the Sharing tab, Folder permissions are on the Security tab.
