    Windows updates freezes my entire computer and makes it extremely slow frequently


    Windows updates has been making my pc really laggy (most recent example being Windows 10 May 2004 Update making my pc unusable until restart) and it feels like it is damaging my hard drive or making it slower. I was wondering if there was a way I could limit how much RAM or resource usage the updates programs take so that this issue affects my pc less? or why windows updates causes bluescreens, lag etc and any ways to protect my pc from it

    The other night, my computer turned itself on and to my amazement, there was a windows update being installed on the computer.

    Since this miracle up-date, my computer is running extremely slow and am at a loss what to do.

    Is anyone else facing the same problem, and if so can you advise how to rectify this?
