Windows 10: Windows Updates Issues

Discus and support Windows Updates Issues in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I read an article that said the Windows Update KB4549951 had serious issues, such as deleting files, moving files, etc. I did uninstall this update...     Windows Updates Issues


    I read an article that said the Windows Update KB4549951 had serious issues, such as deleting files, moving files, etc.

    I did uninstall this update and the current update is KB4551762. I did a Google search and see that this update may also contain serious issues. Should I uninstall this update also.

    I currently see the following updates in my history.

    KB4541302 installed 3/18/2020

    KB4534132 installed 2/15/2020.


    Are any of these updates safe without serious issues, and/or which ones should I uninstall?

    Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

    It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

    If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

    I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.

    That's my 2 cents anyways. *Smile Windows Updates Issues :)
