Windows 10: Windows updates killing apps.

Why does Microsoft think it is acceptable to push out updates that trash existing, working apps and hardware. This happened to me today, but I see it in 2022 and in 2020. Sensing a pattern here.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Most Recent Windows 10 Update Killed Sound


What kind of speakers do you use and meaning it killed your speakers ? Maybe speaker connection is an issue, but most likely something with sound device settings or drivers. What exact steps have you tried. Anyone of filling in system specs here or listing them as it helps us more to help you.
