Windows 10: Windows updates loaded last night and then shutdown. When I started up today I could not...

I have an HP Envy. My phone, tablet, tv, and wife's pc can all access the internet but not my pc. The updates were: KB5001716, KB5031224, a d KB5031356. The pc can see my router but no internet. I also can't connect to my wireless printer. Could the updates affect my network adapter or do I have a hardware problem?

• its dead even with charger in.
• i just updated it to mango 7.5 couple of days ago
• and today i found other update available when connected to zune but after step 9 "which was restarting" it took about 3 hours and even the process line indicator was not moving move.
• i shutdown my laptop then used the steps of "manaul phone reset -vol.up+dwn then switch on-" which i got from this page when my phone hanged up at the 9th step of restarting also during the previous update "to mango 7.5" but this time it switched off with
  no response.

HELP! windows won't start

Just got home today,
turned on computer and windows won't start.

What happens

BIOS appears-
loading asus express gate...
microsoft corporation (with small loading bar)

after the loading bar, a windows logo inscribed in a circle should appear and illuminate.
instead i just get a movable cursor on a black screen...

after a while it reboots and the process starts again.

I'm suspecting its the windows update my computer installed last night as it was shutting down.


Going into safe mode and restoring...hopefully this works.
I'm creating this thread from my dad's laptop ><

Any suggestion will be appreciated! *Cry :cry:

EDIT: i forgot to mention, the first time (blank screen for 5 min) ended in a quick BSOD and reboot.
