Windows 10: Windows Updates Retry Won't Install

I am getting the message "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x800f020b".Microsoft Support told me to wait a little while and it should go away on it's own. It has been over a week. It is not going away.I have made multiple attempts to fix the issue. Most have come from the Microsoft site, but with no luck. I can't remember all the different things I have done. One thing I noticed is that a message flashes on the screen

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
