    Windows Updates Stuck on KB5010342 and KB5010415


    These two updates appear in my Windows updates. This PC is on 21H2. Neither update can complete; each gets to 100% installed and then reports there was an error and the install failed. Suggestions would be most welcome!

    I just got that one too. Interestingly, a search of the internet on "KB5010415" turns up only 3 results, and none of them in English. Very strange.

    "Update KB5010415 Preview for Windows 10 Version 21H2, 21H1 and 20H2" - preview update already two weeks early?

    What did they break on Tuesday that warrants this or why is it two weeks early, I'm left wondering *Confused ?

    I wouldn't install a preview update without having a reason to do so.

    The only reference I can currently find (Chinese website) :

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
