Windows 10: Windows updates/Xbox Pc Update/Microsoft Store Updates

I have been having a problem with not being able to automatically windows security updates Xbox pc update or download anything from the microsoft store, It has been impossible for me to get security updates with out having to go download the manually. At this point i am unsure what i can do to fix these issues without the help of a Microsoft employee.

Xbox 360 Live Update

A new update for the Xbox 360 has been released over Xbox Live. The update, available upon signing on to the Xbox Live service with a 360, offers a few minor bug fixes, as well as a seal over a minor security hole that would-be system hackers had been experimenting with. Here's the update list:

• Improvements to the Xbox Guide.
• Option to retain your saved games when you delete a profile.
• Increased accuracy of "last time played."
• Network configuration improvements for Xbox Live® members in the Netherlands.
• More detailed messaging for unreadable disk or region errors.

windows automatic updates

i have some questions about the windows automatic updates in windows xp pro w sp/2. ive got about forty updates they recommend , mostly for security but i only installed two today. after installing them i found them in my add/remove programs in the control panel, if i add all these updates that is a lot of space on my hd almost 1 gig. i thought that updates just updated files and not created new programs. should i innore all these update suggestions from microsoft?
