Windows updating something I don't have?

Greetings. I hope everyone is safe and healthy.

A Windows10 Update is ready to reboot. It included this: 2020-06 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems (KB4561600). I don't have any Adobe software on my machine at all; I removed Flash from Windows 7 more than a year ago but since then I've installed a new primary hard drive, with Windows 10, so that's not even a factor. I think. I do have my Win7 files on a backup drive and there are some (very) old configuration files there. I guess it's time to get rid of that backup. There could also be something in very old regular backups.

But, regardless, the question is, if Windows installs a security update for something that's not installed, does it matter? Is there a reason NOT to? Do I have a choice?

    Thanks for the advice.

    -G.

PS I have no idea how to attach files here; the manager has old files that I can't delete so I don't have room to add. Never mind. Here's a link to my full system specs: http://www.through.net/Specs/2020-0610_win_info.pdf

Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?

    thanks
