Windows 10: Windows upgrade

Hi. I initiated a windows upgrade/update and as usual, I didn't have enough space, so I decided to delete some files and insert an SD card and the upgrade initiated. After all the steps and percentages were done, and I had to restart my computer to "finish" my upgrade, only it did not start. It said that I must insert the disk with the update. I removed and re-inserted the SD card and nothing. I have already scoured the net for a solution to this but I cannot find one, apparently, one cannot update from an SD card. My question is, why would Windows accept the SD card in the first place if it w

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
