Windows 10: Windows user name doesn't change

Discus and support Windows user name doesn't change in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I've been trying to change the user name of my laptop, well it's changed, but somehow, it's not really "changed".     Windows user name doesn't change


    I've been trying to change the user name of my laptop, well it's changed, but somehow, it's not really "changed". Maybe the screenshot could help to describe my problem.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    How to change User name on Windows 10

    Hi Davit,

    I will certainly help you in changing the User name on Windows 10.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below to change the User name:

    • Press Windows logo + R keys to open the run command, type
      netplwiz       and click on Ok.
    • On the Users tab, click on Properties to change the user name and then click on
      Apply.

    • Press Windows + X key.

    • Click on control panel.

    • Click on user accounts.

    • Click on change your account name.
    Change the name as per your according and restart the computer.
