    Hi,I'm currently working on a new home server setup. It consists of various virtualized services running on proxmox. I was wondering why not moving everything onto the server, including my desktop work? Technicalities aside, I want to know what is needed in terms of appropriate windows version and license for a single user only me, no multiple users connecting from a thinclient non-windows via vlc etc. to a windows guest running on the proxmox host?So what is the windows version and license needed for this new virtualized windows install.     Hi Voytek,

    To remove the guest account from your start screen, we suggest that you try the following steps:

    • Right-click Start menu, then select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Enable guest account first by typing net user guest /active:yes, then press
      Enter.
    • Disable guest account by typing net user guest /active:no, then press
      Enter.
    • Perform a
      clean boot in Windows.

    Let us know how it goes.
