    Windows Vide Editor - "We can't open this file" Error


    I've been having issues with the Video Editor. I can import files and the load correctly. However, when I move them into the "StoryBoard" I get an error message saying "We can't open this file". I have checked the videos and they open on their own, however, I cannot edit them. How can I resolve this issue? I have tried to repair and reset the video editor, change security permissions on the files, uninstalling and reinstalling the video editor and rebooting my device several times.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

    Context Menu - Open With (Windows Suggested List)

    OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 22H2
    Diagram 'A' shows Windows' suggested programs
    Diagram 'B' shows the extended list

    I have been trying to edit the context menu's "Open with" list of Windows' suggested programs for the .mp3 extension.
    I'm not talking about the extended list, but rather the programs that first appear 'before' the "choose another app" option.
    If you look at Diagram 'A' you will see the preliminary list generated by Windows, this is the list I am looking to modify.
    I have an .mp3 editor named Goldwave that I use for editing audio files, however, I do not want to change the preliminary program Windows uses to open .mp3s. My .mp3s should remain assigned to Winamp Player.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
