Windows 10: Windows Video Editor Transitions

Hello!


I have been exploring video editing on the pre-installed Windows Video Editor for Windows 10. I realize that there is NO way to add transitions between clips. This is a very common and popular complaint among users. Is there any chance / hope that we may someday get an update that gives us transitions? Or should I give up and try exploring other programs? I do really enjoy the simplicity of the Windows Video Editor, and it's such a shame that it lacks such a simple yet important function! Thank you

I'm Jericho, a fellow customer and an individual advisor. I am happy to assist you!

You can play around with pans and zooms on the single photos using the video editor but apologies as there is no way to apply transitions from one photo or video to the next. This feature is not available in this application.

I suggest that you use other video editors that has features for transitions. Such as Vegas Pro and Adobe premiere. You can find 3rd party video applications in google.

How do I add transitions to video clips in Video Editor

Based on my personal experience, the Video Editor in Windows 10 don't have a transition function.

I didn't read any documentation about it and there's no grantee that it is impossible be done, but it's true that the Video Editor has a very limited function and if you need advanced video editor, you should turn to a third party software like Adobe Premiere
Pro, Shotcut, Blender, etc.
