    I am a big fan of virtual desktops in windows 10. I would like to manage them; Question. Can I use Visual Basic.net to control the virtual desktops another way of asking is Does Visual Basic have Access to the API(objects) of Microsoft virtual desktops.

    I moved this thread to "Programming & Webmastering". I suggest not to use vb6 and go with vb.net 2010 or 2012 express. I'd also, suggest if you are learning from the ground up then start with c#. *Toast :toast:

    Hi Geeker13,

    Are you experiencing this problem when using Microsoft Visual Basic? Or when running any program unrelated to Visual Basic? In the mean time, try installing the latest Windows updates since an update for the Microsoft Visual Basic might be oferred. Running
    the System File Checker and Deployment Image Servicing and Management command-utility tool might also help resolve the issue. To do so, follow the steps below:

    1. Open the Start menu, type cmd, right-click on
      Command Prompt       and select Run as administrator.
    2. Input the following command-line and press Enter after each line.

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

      sfc /scannow
