Discus and support Windows Voice Recorder needs access to Documents folder in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Hi I get this message when I open the app, but when I made a new user it works fine but I want to use my original user account.     Hi I get this message when I open the app, but when I made a new user it works fine but I want to use my original user account. Can someone help?

    Hi,

    I just tried to use the voice recorder and I'm having the same issue, blank screen with the message in red letters, no links, steps or any kind of info in how to provide the access to my documents folder to the voice recorder.

    "Before you can record, we need access to your Documents Folder"

    Voice Recorder needs to access my documents folder Windows 10

    I am trying to access the Voice recorder in windows 10 for the first time since the upgrade to windows 10. The error message I get says that it needs to access my documents folder before I can record. I tried the different suggestions on Microsoft community
    but none worked. I tried to update device automatically and manually and all devices are up to date. I tried Microsoft fix it but the trouble shooter is not compatible with my computer (Microsoft tech recommendation). I tried giving the user full access,
    doesn't work. Any help will be appreciated.
