Windows 10: Windows Voice Typing types "background noise" when hearing a random noise. How stupid is this?

Who thought of that? This is absolute insanity. Now theres some "background noise" text in my emails. People think i'm crazy.

I know 100% perfection is probably not possible since voice access relies on picking up your verbal commands, but anything to reduce the background noise would be helpful. You mentioned that you can suppress background noise by using different types of software. What kind of software would this be?

 

Software to separate noise from the human voice or song

For audio, you could try Audacity. You can select a sample period where there is just the noise you want to remove, then filter that from the audio.

A noise cancellation mic is a work around this but please note it will not cause 100% of the noise detected by mic to go away.

In windows you can suppress the background noise by using different types of software but however it will not achieve 100% perfection.

If you want a perfect voice access you will have to use a room without noise as it will pick up something or the other in a noisy room no matter what you try.
