Windows 10: Windows Wallpaper Background is Reverting Every Time I Switch Users, Virtual Desktops or...

I did a clean reinstall of the Windows 11, a couple of times, erasing everything. I deleted the registry values of backgrounds. I ran sfc /scannow and DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth. The problem persist! I have two users and every time I restart my computer they appear to have the same wallpaper. I am changing one of them to a different wallpaper, but it keeps reverting, no matter what. Same with virtual desktops. They are reverting to have the same wallpapers. I even made a custom theme, but it changes too. Note: Background is set to Picture, not Slideshow. Sync settings etc

Desktop wallpaper for new users

Hi Alaa,

Setting default users lets you specify the wallpaper on user's desktops and prevents other users from changing the image or its presentation. You can check these steps on how to set wallpapers from all users:

• Type run on the search bar and press Enter.
• On the window, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
• Locate and click Administrative Templates.
• Select Desktop > Desktop > Desktop Wallpaper.
• Tick Enabled, and name your wallpaper.
• Select Apply and click OK.

After performing the steps above, you may restart your PC.

different Desktop wallpaper backgrounds

Hi guys,

So I found out you can set up different desktops on my laptop.

I have 3, (one for school, one for other productivity stuff and one for fun/entertainment)

Can I set up 3 different wallpapers for each desktop background?

I tried using settings and "change my desktop background" but that changes all 3 instead of just the one I'm currently on.

Any suggestions?

Wallpaper (background) color

Close all open windows, restart the computer once and then login to the computer to check if that helps.
