Windows 10: Windows Wallpaper Tiling not working

I run a 4 monitor setup, 3 being 23 inch Lenovo and the 4th being my Surface Pro 7. After update 1909, I noticed my wallpaper tiling has changed and I can't get it to work right.


Some background. I have run this same setup for years on different versions of Windows and Surfaces. I use the Surface dock to connect two of the monitors directly, and a USB 3.0 usb with HDMI graphics to connect the 3rd monitor. The Surface monitor gets its display natively since its a tablet and can be turned on or off, I leave it on.


I run two monitors in the middle, the third on the left a little spaced apart, and the Surface on the right spaced apart.


I have always, I mean for like 5 years, been able to set one of my middle monitors left middle as the default, and then chosen wall papers that are designed to tile across both monitors to fill the space. By default, the third monitor and the Surface tile together, and I leave the Surface resolution at default and the picture usually just stacks itself on top of each other which is fine.


All of the sudden after 1909, the main monitor is always tiling with the 3rd 23in monitor on the left, and the other middle monitor tiles with the Surface. For the life of me I can't figure out how to fix this and put back the way it was. I have tried using a new Surface dock forcing the monitors to re-register, have confirmed the Surface dock is up to date, and any other reasonable step you can try.


-If I turn off or disable the 3rd 23 inch monitor, the problem resolves until I turn it back on.

-If I reorg the monitors in display settings, i can fix it, but then can't logically drag my mouse from monitor to monitor without the order being off and making no sense.


Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this? Pics attached.

Live tiles not working Windows 10

I tried your suggestions, but when I got to the 'Apps & Features' list, none of my tiles were listed.

That's about what I thought. Go to Settings :: Accounts :: Sync your settings and turn off "Theme". Go change your wallpaper fit back to ... not Tile. Go to the Settings :: Personalization :: Themes :: Themes page and save your current theme.

At this point, if this fails again, you'd want to look at what software you have installed, as I would believe that this is due to a wallpaper changer on your system. The above steps I gave you will turn off theme roaming AND also ensure that if the theme
is reset it would reset back to "not Tile". That eliminates all the code paths on the Microsoft side that might do this.
