    Windows WDF violation on MacBookPro (2009)


    Hello everyone,


    i'm having a problem after the October 2018 update.


    I tried 3 times to update my Windows 10 system, but each time i had to revert back the updates due to a Blue Screen crash (actually a green screen).


    The error is WDF violation, and doesn't say nothing else.


    I lost several hours trying to solve the problem, without results.


    I tried all the fix suggested, including the HP keyboard driver (non applicable for my pc, btw) and some driver update.


    Windows crashes as soon as the Windows Defender icon appears on the notification area.

    I tried to disable Windows Defender by policy, same result.


    Could someone give me an hint, otherwise i have to permanently disable the updates Windows WDF violation on MacBookPro (2009) :(

    WDF violation in Windows 10

    Received a WDF violation message. PC won't boot. Tried system restore with installation media, but it won't work. Tried startup repair and that did not work either. I am on Windows 10. Please advise.

    I recently updated my desktop computer to Windows 10 and it was working fine, until Friday. I turned on my computer and it went to a blue screen with a message, WDF violation. Since then I have not been able to get my computer to start and the monitor is
    black. How do I fix this?? Please keep in mind I am not a computer techie.
