Windows 10: Windows WiFi connected but No Internet Access - "No internet , secured"

When you experiece this problem "No internet , secured" showing after you connected to a WiFi or Hotspot network outside your office, run through the below steps to make sure your IP and DNS assignments are enabled for DHCP and NOT Static. 1. Right click on the network conectivity icon on the right bottom corner of the Task bar and select Network and Internet settings2. Select Advance network settings3. Connected, secured to wifi, but no internet access

Ok so for method 1:

windows+w does nothing...

method 2:

I uninstalled all the devices and restarted the computer.

I reconnected to the wifi it says "no internet secured". And when I hover over the wifi in the right corner it now has the yellow triangle and exclamation mark and says "no internet access"

im wondering if I will need to find a different wifi connection in order to seek a solution on my laptop. It doesn't look like I will be able to solve it without Internet connection...

 

W10 can connect to wider internet but cannot access web pages

I have an odd issue with my W10 laptop linked to Sky broadband in the UK via wifi using a Sky router. The effect is that while I can actually access the internet (I can send and receive emails using Outlook and can connect to other machines using TeamViewer) I cannot access any web site (Google, BBC etc). There is no specific error message, merely that the access request timed out and a suggestion that it may be to do with proxy. I have tried the following:

1. Other systems (W10 and ios) can access web sites using the same Sky router (therefore probably not a router problem)
2. I have sent and received emails using Outlook, so the broadband connection is working (probably not a Sky problem)
3. I have tried two different browsers (Firefox and Edge), no connection (not a browser problem)
4. I am using Windows Defender and have:
   1. Made sure that Firefox is in the list of allowed systems in its Firewall, no connection after a reboot
   2. Turned off the Firewall and tried again - no connection

My next step will be to re-install Windows, but has anyone got any other suggestions? Could it be some sort of virus (I have carried out a complete virus check using Defender) So - any suggestions?

I m using HP envy 3090nr laptop having windows 7 home premium.

I was using norton internet security previously which was very good, no virus problem so far.

But i want to know any other internet security which is better or similar and free?

Give your suggestions for best free as well as best paid internet security.

Also give your opinion for microsoft security essentials.
