Windows 10: Windows will not detect network when waking from sleep.

Hi guys. I just upgraded to Windows 10 and I love it. The only issue is that whenever I wake it up from sleep it will not detect my ethernet connection. I try unplugging the cable and re-inserting it but to no avail. I also unchecked the box in the power management tab that says "Allow windows to shut off this device to save power". The only thing that fixes it is a restart. How should I go about fixing this?

Whenever I put my laptop to sleep or hibernate and open it back on, the wireless network adapater needs to be reset in order for it to recieve Wi-Fi again

Is not turned off. Whenever the device wakes up from sleep, it can detect networks. When I try to connec to a network, it will state 'Connecting' after awhile, it will state 'Can't connect to this network'. In order for me to have the a bility to connect,
I need to go and reset the wireless network adapter.

Summary:

The wireless network adapter is not set to turn off after sleep. It is turned on but cannot connect to a network after wake.

 

No internet connection after wakng up from sleep on Windows 10.

Can someone please help me.

I have a HP PC that is only about two months old, it came with Windows 10. The problem I have is that when the PC wakes from sleep even though the tool bar icon displays there is an internet connection I cannot connect to the internet at all. No browsers
or online drive connection will work.

After checking the error I get as far as a screen that tells me "Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings".

I have looked online and tried lots of resets but nothing seems to help.

I have no problem connecting at other times it is just when my PC wakes from sleep.

Any errors/ warnings in the system event log at the time of wake up?

 

I got an error that says:

"Miniport Marvell Yukon 88E8057 Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller #2, {f1ec84a2-aad1-43c5-8dd5-9fdaa8011737}, had event Fatal error: The miniport has failed a power transition to low power"

this makes sense seeing as it has to go to a low power state during sleep.

 

Yeah, I get a similar message for my Marvell 350n wireless controller. Only solution for now is an updated driver from Marvell or a patch in Windows 10. Just have to wait.
